As you approach the library, you might feel a sense of curiosity or perhaps a quiet knowing… because this is your library… A place where everything you need to understand about yourself is stored, ready for you to discover when the time is right.
“You step inside… and the stillness is so comforting… like the gentle embrace of silence. You can feel the atmosphere inviting you to explore… inviting you to relax… deeper and deeper… with each breath.”*
Main Script: The Book of Restful Sleep
*”Now, as you walk through this library, you might notice how the shelves seem endless… stretching into the distance… each book holding a piece of wisdom… a key to understanding… a solution to a question you’ve been carrying. And as you let your eyes wander over the shelves, one book begins to stand out to you. (Pause)
Perhaps it’s the colour of the spine or the way it seems to glow ever so softly. This book feels like it has been waiting for you… as though it contains something important… something just for you.
“And as you take the book in your hands, notice how it feels.
(Pause)
Is it smooth? … Is it heavy or light? …. And as you open it, you might see or hear words, images, or even feel sensations flowing from the pages, speaking directly to you in a way that you understand deeply, even if you don’t fully realise it yet.
“And somewhere in those pages, you find the answer to a question you’ve had: … why has sleep felt distant or elusive? And even more than the answer, you find a solution… A way forward… A sense of peace that begins to fill you as you read.
“It’s as though the words in the book are unlocking something inside you… something that had been quietly waiting to be discovered. And you feel it now, don’t you? That shift… that release, as though a weight you didn’t even know you were carrying begins to lift.
(Pause)
“And you can choose to take this book with you… You can carry it with you in your mind, knowing that its wisdom is always there for you. You don’t have to read all the words now… you can let your unconscious mind take in what’s most important, letting the rest unfold naturally over time.
“And as you step away from the library, back onto that peaceful path, you may notice how much lighter you feel… how much calmer. You realize that the deeper part of you… the part that knows how to rest, how to sleep… has already started to work in harmony with this new understanding.
Just stay with those feelings of lightness and calmness for a few minutes and enjoy how that feels. (Pause for 30+ secs)
“And when you drift off to sleep tonight… you can trust that your mind and body are already working together, creating the perfect conditions for deep, peaceful rest. Each time you breathe, each time you let go, you’re stepping closer to the restful sleep that is yours to enjoy.
